GEOMETRIC FORMER MODULE

The VITS Sprint Geo-Former uses proven technology to produce crisp, accurate folds on a wide range of stocks.  Simply position the web and forget it.  The predetermined geometry of the folder eliminates errors in folding that are common in other, less reliable folders.

Geometric Former Module: Products

MULTIPLE RIBBONS CAPABLE

The Geo-Former can fold one ribbon up to six ribbons producing a four to twenty four page signature.

PRODUCED GLUED SIGNATURES

Add a backbone gluing system and now the Geo-Former Folder can produce glued in the backbone signatures, eight to twenty four pages.

ADD TRIMMING

The driven shear slitter can take an edge trim creating a nice, neatly trimmed book.  The Sprint Variable Data Rotary Cutter can produce full bleed trim at the head & foot.

EASE OF OPERATION

Like all the VITS equipment, new operators can be trained in the operation of the folder in less than a shift.
